Week One will take us all over the world, exploring travel, language, customs and foods. Our life
skill emphasis is building communication skills and we will practice mock job interviews.

Theme: "Music Lovers Welcome"
Week Two explores different genres of music and dance, simple composition and rhythm, and how

Theme: "Capture Your Image"
Week Three is all about presentation – making a good first impression, manners & etiquette. Life and employment skills feature photography and videography (in front of and behind the camera)

Theme: "Appreciate the Arts"
Week Four presents the opportunity to dabble in all sorts of art mediums, including clay!

Week Five. It’s a big universe out there! Let’s look beyond ourselves and do some exploring. Our Core Value of “Be Involved” is key this week and we will look at the many volunteer opportunities that exist in our community.

Week 6 - July 23-27
Theme: "Christmas in July"
Week Six is a week-long celebration! Get used to red and green. We will plan the menu, go shopping and prepare the Friday lunch buffet. This is the week we put together and deliver Christmas in July Swag Bags for All Children's Hospital patients.

Parent Resource Luncheon - July 27
Parents & Caregivers of Camp Banyan campers and other members of the handicapable community are invited to our Resource Luncheon. During this time, we bring in representatives from helpful resources for those with special needs in our community. Help us by spreading the word to other families with special needs!
Our Campers (& Parents) are volunteering at the final Threshers’ “Dog Days of Summer”. Ticket proceeds go to an animal rescue non-profit.
