Join us for some creative fun over Spring Break! Each Camper will bring home an acrylic on canvas painting, an original ink print and a book of doodles created by the participants. And, of course, there will be Core Value lessons, recreation breaks, role play, games, etc.
- Camp is geared toward 16 to 29 year old handicapable young adults (who do not need full-time assistance, able to express wants/needs)
- Camp starts at 9am (registration at 8:45) and dismissal is promptly at 3pm
- Each Camper brings a bag lunch (we will provide a snack and drinks)
- Comfortable clothes that a little paint won’t hurt are a must!
- Cost is $75, paid to The Banyan Odyssey, Inc.
- Guest artists include Kelly Paxton (Ms. “Happy Pants”), Heidi Stavinga (see her ink art at https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=heidi%20stavinga%20studio) and a surprise or two
- Our goal this session is to unlock creativity in an accepting environment where social, life and job skills are taught and caught along the way
