Art Fest! June 19th-23rd!

Art Fest Celebrates the Visual Arts! You will have a chance to dabble in a variety of mediums with Guest Artists—a new one we love is done with Ink & Alcohol. Did you know that food presentation is also an art?

The Who/What/When/How Much/Where’s:

Who: Camp Director is Jane Williams, V.P. of The Banyan Odyssey, Inc.
Adult Volunteers & Staff (required to have background screenings), Student Volunteers and Guest Teachers

What: Camp Banyan is a six-week summer program for handicapable young adults ages 16 to 29 who are working towards independence (i.e. employment and life on their own, with supports). The emphasis is on developing and reinforcing Independent Living, Social and Work Skills; we teach Core Values that help on the track to success; and the program also includes exposure to The Arts, fitness and fun!

When: 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday – Friday
Completed Application, Registration Fee and FIRST week’s tuition are due by June 1, 2017.

Camp dismisses promptly at 3:00 pm. Parents of campers left after 3:00pm will be charged a late fee of $10.00 and Campers will help with clean-up chores.

How Much: Weekly Camp Fee is $125.00
Registration Fee (non-refundable) $25.00 – includes Camp Shirt (This one-time fee is due with the completed Application PLUS one week Camp Fees.)
Scholarships are available as a result of Give Day Tampa Bay donations (contact Jane)
Note: Field Trips may sometimes require an additional fee.

Where: First Christian Church of Clearwater
2299 Drew St, Clearwater (located between US19 & Belcher Rd, West of Spectrum Field & SPC Campus)
Use WEST entrance under the portico to enter building

And Whoa!: Basic Requirements for Participation: Must be able to self-care (bathroom, feeding, hygiene). Must be able to understand and follow directions Is able to express wants and needs clearly. Will not physically harm others.
