Join us for Camp Banyan – Summer 2018! We are so excited for our summer full of fun and friends!
Week 1 – June 11-15
Theme: “Where in the World?”
Week One will take us all over the world, exploring travel, language, customs and foods. Our life
skill emphasis is building communication skills and we will practice mock job interviews.
Field Trip on Friday: Passport Adventure at Heritage Village

Camp Banyan is a six-week summer program for handicapable young adults ages 16 to 29 who
are working towards independence (i.e. employment and life on their own, with supports).
The emphasis is on developing and reinforcing Independent Living, Social and Work Skills; we teach Core
Values that help on the track to success; and the program also includes exposure to The Arts, fitness and fun!
June 11th through July 27th, 2018
9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday – Friday
(each week is its own entity with its own theme!)
Weekly Camp Fee is $125.00
Registration Fee (non-refundable) $25.00 – includes Camp Shirt
(This one-time fee is due with the completed Application PLUS one week Camp Fees.)
Note: Field Trips may sometimes require an additional fee.*
Some Scholarships are available (contact Jane)
*Campers bring their own bag lunch unless otherwise notified

Basic Requirements for Participation
Must be able to self-care (bathroom, feeding, hygiene)
Must be able to understand and follow directions
Is able to express wants and needs clearly
Will not physically harm others
