DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year again – time to make your plans to be a part of Spring Break Camp 2018! \nFor young adults with disabilities\, (ages 16 to 29)\, preparing for independence. \nMarch 26 – 28th\, 9am – 3pm \nFirst Christian Church of Clearwater (2299 Drew St.) \nCost is $75 per Camper \nPurpose: to promote skills\, independence and friendships in a loving environment \nTheme: Communication – This session will focus on improving social and conversational skills\, identifying negative self-talk and moving into the ‘Green Zone’ of emotional health\, and even learning greetings (and sampling food) from other countries. \nBasic Prerequisites: Camper must be able to self-care (bathroom\, feeding\, hygiene)\, to understand and follow directions\, to express wants and needs clearly and will not physically harm others \nContact Camp Director\, Jane Williams\, at hello@ourbanyan.com \nReady to fill out the Camp application?
