DESCRIPTION:Coming This July! A Summer Day Camp with the Banyan and LiFT U!  \nPresenting Four Exciting Weeks of Fun\, Discovery and Sharing with Friends!! \nThis Summer\, we will have 4 week-long sessions for our Neurodiverse / Handicapable Young Adults. Participants must be over the age of 22\, able to self-care and the ability to communicate needs. \nThe first Three Weeks of Camp Banyan x LiFT U: We are partnering with the awesome Ashley Duffy Hill and her staff at LiFT U!  Weeks 1 – 3 will be at the LiFT Academy Campus located at 1006 S. Highland Ave in Clearwater 33756 (the former Suncoast YMCA building).  Ms. Jane is Camp Director. At LiFT we have an industrial kitchen\, a gym\, and loads of space to learn independence skills and how to navigate the world around us. Of course\, this means we’ll be exploring the community in the Mobile Classroom. \nThe Fourth Week of Camp will be at Grace Christian Fellowship 901 Ridge Rd SW\, Largo\, FL 33770 (last summer’s location). We will be “EXPLORING CREATIVITY”! Participants will experiment in different art forms with some of our favorite Master Teachers. Check back on the website tomorrow for specific dates and themes. \n• Week 1: Successful Communication & Healthy Relationships\nSession Runs: Monday July 6 – Friday July 10 (10am-2pm) \n• Week 2: Cooking Through Life: Culinary & Kitchen Skills with Chef Laura\nSession Runs: Monday July 13 – Friday July 17 (10am-2pm) \n• Week 3: Discovering Treasures in Our Community\nSession Runs: Monday July 20 – Friday July 24 (10am-2pm) \n• Week 4: Exploring Creativity\nSession Runs: Monday July 27 – Friday July 31 (10am-2pm) \nCOST: Private-pay tuition of $150 per week which covers supplies\, overhead fees and field trips (limited scholarship funding is available depending on need). \nSESSIONS: Monday through Friday\, 10am to 2pm with a 30-minute lunch break. \nLUNCH BREAK:  Participants should bring a bag lunch each day unless notified in advance that we’re cooking or eating out. \nSpace is limited to 25 campers\, so please register early and submit your payment to reserve your spot. \nEnrich your life and strengthen friendships.  You won’t want to miss some of the exciting Master Teachers’ sessions and outings we have planned! \nTo Prepare for Banyan & LiFT Summer Camp:\n• Register below and submit your payment\n• Participants should bring their own lunch each day for the 30-minute lunch break.\n• Wear comfortable clothes. SUMMARY:Banyan & LiFT Summer Camp 2026: Four Exciting Weeks of Fun\, Discovery and Sharing with Friends
DESCRIPTION:Coming This July! A Summer Day Camp with the Banyan and LiFT U!  \nPresenting Four Exciting Weeks of Fun\, Discovery and Sharing with Friends!! \nThis Summer\, we will have 4 week-long sessions for our Neurodiverse / Handicapable Young Adults. Participants must be over the age of 22\, able to self-care and the ability to communicate needs. \nThe first Three Weeks of Camp Banyan x LiFT U: We are partnering with the awesome Ashley Duffy Hill and her staff at LiFT U!  Weeks 1 – 3 will be at the LiFT Academy Campus located at 1006 S. Highland Ave in Clearwater 33756 (the former Suncoast YMCA building).  Ms. Jane is Camp Director. At LiFT we have an industrial kitchen\, a gym\, and loads of space to learn independence skills and how to navigate the world around us. Of course\, this means we’ll be exploring the community in the Mobile Classroom. \nThe Fourth Week of Camp will be at Grace Christian Fellowship 901 Ridge Rd SW\, Largo\, FL 33770 (last summer’s location). We will be “EXPLORING CREATIVITY”! Participants will experiment in different art forms with some of our favorite Master Teachers. Check back on the website tomorrow for specific dates and themes. \n• Week 1: Successful Communication & Healthy Relationships\nSession Runs: Monday July 6 – Friday July 10 (10am-2pm) \n• Week 2: Cooking Through Life: Culinary & Kitchen Skills with Chef Laura\nSession Runs: Monday July 13 – Friday July 17 (10am-2pm) \n• Week 3: Discovering Treasures in Our Community\nSession Runs: Monday July 20 – Friday July 24 (10am-2pm) \n• Week 4: Exploring Creativity\nSession Runs: Monday July 27 – Friday July 31 (10am-2pm) \nCOST: Private-pay tuition of $150 per week which covers supplies\, overhead fees and field trips (limited scholarship funding is available depending on need). \nSESSIONS: Monday through Friday\, 10am to 2pm with a 30-minute lunch break. \nLUNCH BREAK:  Participants should bring a bag lunch each day unless notified in advance that we’re cooking or eating out. \nSpace is limited to 25 campers\, so please register early and submit your payment to reserve your spot. \nEnrich your life and strengthen friendships.  You won’t want to miss some of the exciting Master Teachers’ sessions and outings we have planned! \nTo Prepare for Banyan & LiFT Summer Camp:\n• Register below and submit your payment\n• Participants should bring their own lunch each day for the 30-minute lunch break.\n• Wear comfortable clothes. Closed-toe shoes are required for cooking sessions\, and old clothes are recommended for painting and out-door rec days. \nEach participant gets a camp tee shirt to wear for special outings (like when we take goodies to the Clearwater Officials downtown and and visit our First Responders). \nWhat to Expect\n• Each day includes themed activities\, a core values lesson\, practical life skills\, and recreational fun.\n• Banyan and LiFT U faculty are joined by guest teachers from the community each week.\n• Participants will also take weekly educational trips into the community to explore each session’s theme.
